In 1947 Robert Guille and his brother Alain added a rubber sole to a warm, comfy sock, and created the slipper-sock. That’s it. There is nothing else in them. They are soft, stretchy, non-slip and super comfortable. They are what you would make yourself for your children’s feet if you could. 

Specialists recommend that children learning to walk wear soft-soled footwear as much as possible. They need to get used to feeling the ground under their feet and build muscle strength, while having their feet protected from injury and extreme temperatures.
